Report on 2004's retreat

A group of adults and young people gathered for a retreat weekend at Crossroads on July 23 - July 25, 2004. The retreat featured prayers "in the Taizé style." This is a style of praying with simple chants, conceived by the Brothers living in community at Taizé, France.

Periods of prayers, spiritual sharing, and discussion centered around materials from the Taizé community formed the backbone of a revitalizing and a relaxing weekend. The group made good use of the camp's facilities: swimming, boating, fishing and hiking. The camp staff, in addition to providing great support and wonderful meals, joined in with us on all of our spiritual activities.
