The hull is built on fourteen forms spaced at 1’. MultiSurf plots the shape of each of these forms. A screen print of those shapes was made on several pieces of paper which were then fitted together to form one sheet. The vertical and horizontal lines, spaced 3” at full scale, permitted the various sheets to be fitted together accurately. This picture shows both the forward and aft plans.
