Cleaning up the inside of the hull was a lot harder than the outside of the hull because the flat tools don’t contact the wood properly. I hoped the ship’s plane (on the right) would get around this problem with its variable curvature shoe. It didn’t work very well. Next was the slightly curved scraper shown on the left.
