We’ve mentioned before that the masts will pivot down for storage so we have to prepare the partners to accommodate this pivoting. In order to do this we have to make a copy of the lower part of the main mast. This will be a cylinder 2 ½” in diameter. We start with a long block of wood 2 ½” square as shown here.
