The hull of Little Leon was developed using MultiSurf, a ship design package available from AeroHydro, Inc. in Maine. The offsets for the original Leon were typed in as the preliminary hull form. After the offsets were scaled down to the 16’ length on deck, two other modifications were made. The beam at scale would have been 4’ – this was increased to 5’. The depth at scale would have been 2’7” – this was increased to 3’1”.
