... pulls the bottom of the sail up to the yard just like a window blind. Clearly another bunt line near the center would have helped. A number of changes are indicated from this test. One is that on the square sails the seams for the panels need to run horizontally rather than vertically to facilate the accordian like folding that has to take place.
