The topsail is spread.  Pat is now pointing at the two brail lines that gathered the sail when it was furled - these brail lines serve the same function as the buntlines do on the square sails.  The same looping arrangment described for the buntlines and sheets are used here.  The two jam cleats are shown at the red arrow.
