The 4 square sails are set.  The deep curve in the lower topsail (the lowest square avoids chaffing on the edge of the fore top, the wooden platform on the foremast, and the forestay that leads down from the top.   The topgallant, the second sail from the top, has a similar, though less pronounced curve, for the same reason.
